Academic Coaches work one-on-one with you to help you develop better study skills and to improve time management habits, motivation, organizational habits, reading comprehension, and more.

Hundreds of OHIO students meet with Academic Coaches when they find themselves procrastinating on assignments, feeling unmotivated to attend class or complete assignments, struggling with test anxiety, or if they just need some general academic support not related to specific class content.

Integrated Social Studies
Arthur Bargainer

Arthur is a fourth-year Integrated Social Studies major within the Patton College of Education. He enjoys working with students because he enjoys the relationships he builds and helping them grow as people. In his free time, Arthur likes to read and binge watch any tv show he can find.

Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences
Haley Carlson

Haley Carlson is majoring in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences. She loves working with others and is excited to help fellow students with their academic success. She hopes to create a comfortable environment for everyone who meets with her.

Exercise Physiology
Carmen King

Carmen King is a fourth-year student at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University studying Exercise Physiology with a Biology minor. She plays club soccer, and she loves walking the shelter dogs and watching Grey's Anatomy. Carmen is most excited to make connections with other students and share tricks and tips for success! 

Psychology and Sociology-Criminology
Jaden Lamerson

Jaden Lamerson is a second-year student who is majoring in Psychology and Sociology-Criminology and earning a certificate in Forensic Studies. She plans to attend graduate school to pursue a career in Forensic Psychology. She enjoys spending her free time in nature, listening to music, reading, and painting, as well as being around friends and family. Jaden is passionate about supporting and empowering others on their journey to success. She is excited to make new connections with fellow students and help create a space that facilitates learning, growth, and confidence!

Health Services Administration
Paris Pasadyn

Paris Pasadyn is a junior majoring in Health Services Administration with minors in Business Administration and Marketing. She enjoys helping others stay organized and build strong habits to succeed academically. As an Academic Coach, she’s looking forward to connecting with students and being a positive, encouraging support system. Outside of school, she loves spending time with friends, going to the gym, and doing anything outdoors. After graduation, she hopes to work in medical sales or healthcare administration.

Anna Spence is a Hearing and Speech Language Sciences major who loves seeing students meet their full potential! She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, as well as reading and watching documentaries. She is excited to help Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University students thrive in their classes and feel confident in themselves and their work.
