Dominic Asitanga
Dominic Asitanaga is a doctoral student in the School of Communication Studies, on the Rhetoric and Culture track. His academic and professional work focuses on rhetoric, political communication and decolonial communication frameworks, with a particular focus on Ghanaian democratic practices and participatory governance.
He serves as the Graduate Student Representative on the Student Alumni Advisory Council, a Research Associate for the Africa Center for Digital Transformation and Graduate Student Senator for Scripps College in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University's Graduate Student Senate. Previous leadership roles Dominic held include Vice President of the African Student Union and Congress Chair of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana-USA.
Outside of academic engagements, he enjoys reading, listening to music and watching movies to inspire his creativity and broaden perspectives.
