In an effort to support students, THRIVE Week is happening Sept, 5–12, and is a chance to explore well-being resources, access basic needs support and tune into what helps students thrive this semester.
Before beginning their schoolwork, OHIO students enjoyed fireworks and fun events during Welcome Week 2025.
During Summer 2025, OHIO’s JED campus team formed subcommittees that began meeting to implement the work of the four-year strategic plan.
A time-honored tradition at ĢƵ University, Welcome Week is filled with activities that cater to new and returning students and helps to set the stage for the fall semester.
With help from across the University, Bobcat Student Orientation brought more than 10,000 students and family members to campus this year, delivering an "amazing experience."
Welcome Week will take place from Aug. 21 – Aug. 31, 2025, and will welcome new students to ĢƵ University through a series of events.
The event honored the commitment, collaboration and care that staff across the division bring to supporting the student experience at ĢƵ University.
For OHIO students, faculty, staff and community members on campus this summer, there are plenty of dining venues remaining open to help you stay fueled during your classes, internships or workdays.
ĢƵ University students now have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience that will help them in their job search and careers through the Building Bobcat Success Program.
Mary and Jason Massarelli Cats’ Cupboard Endowment will support generations of Bobcats.

All members of the OHIO community are invited to the event, which will also celebrate administrative staff members who have reached significant service milestones and those who retire in 2025.
The event recognized individuals and groups who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service and commitment to the OHIO community. The evening concluded with the selection of OHIO’s new student trustee.
Students interested in game design, competitive online gaming and esports now have a new Experiential Living Opportunity available to them in ĢƵ University’s Boyd Hall.
ĢƵ University is excited to announce the creation of the Office of New Student and Family Programs, which merges Parent and Family Programs with Undergraduate Student Orientation.
