ĢƵ University recently hosted 20 high schools at the Esports ĢƵ Central-Southeast Regional Tournament in the OHIO Esports Arena. The event was the first of its kind at ĢƵ University.
The Midwestern Cognitive Science Conference (MCSC 2024) will be held on the Athens campus at ĢƵ University, May 9-11. This marks the first time this intellectually stimulating event to celebrate the interdisciplinary nature of cognitive science has been hosted at OHIO.
Chigozie Obioma, the author of two Booker Prize shortlisted novels, will visit ĢƵ University for the 2024 Spring Literary Festival March 20-21.

The Menard Family George Washington Forum will host Flagler College economics professor Derek K. Yonai on Wednesday March 6 at 6 p.m. in the Baker Theater.
Duane Nellis, Ph.D., will discuss "Remote Sensing and Geospatial Analysis for Helping Save Our Earth” on Wednesday, March 6, at 5 p.m., as part of OHIO’s spring 2024 lineup for the Science Café series. The event will be held at the Baker Center’s Front Room and will be available to stream via YouTube.
ĢƵ University’s History Department will host the annual Lazaroff Lecture in Jewish history on Thursday, Feb. 29, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Baker Theater in Baker University Center.
