Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield – which administers ĢƵ’s health insurance plans – and the OSU Health System are continuing their efforts to reach a new multi-year contract.
On Nov. 15, 2024, a federal judge in the Eastern District of Texas invalidated the Biden administration’s Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime final rule. This decision eliminates the scheduled salary threshold increase previously set to take effect on Jan. 1, 2025, as well as the automatic updates planned to occur every three years.
The 2024 ĢƵ University Winter Break Closure will be extended to include Monday, Dec. 23, and Tuesday, Dec. 24. ĢƵ University closes annually from Dec. 25 through Jan. 1 to recognize and reward the contributions of all employees on all campuses.
