Let's Talk Hours

Counselors-In-Residence are available to provide in-person support to residents and Housing & Residence Life staff during Let's Talk hours. No appointment necessary!

Let's Talk hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Friday, in Living Learning Center (LLC) Room 160. Let's Talk hours are available during fall and spring semesters when the university is open. There are no Let's Talk hours on Saturday, most national holidays, or during university breaks.

If the Counselor is Not In

  • After Hours

    If you need to consult with a counselor outside the dedicated Let's Talk hours, call Counseling and Psychological Services' main line 740.593.1616. A counselor will be available on this line after business hours, on weekends and holidays, and during university breaks.

  • Emergency

    If you or someone you know is an imminent danger to themselves or someone else, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

Counselor-in-Residence Program

The Counselor-in-Residence Program places mental health clinicians directly into residence halls to address the concerns of residents and Housing & Residence Life staff.

Program Includes

  • Brief counseling during Let's Talk hours
  • Preventative and psycho-educational programming
  • Follow-up services to residents and staff in response to crisis situations

For program requests, please contact your assigned Counselor-in-Residence. If you are not aware of who your assigned CR is, please ask your RD or GRD. Thank you!
