Join the ĢƵ University Alumni Association for an exciting adventure during Homecoming with Bobcat Quest! Gather your friends, family, and fellow Bobcats and form a team of up to 6 participants for this campus and community-wide quest. During Homecoming week, embark on a journey to explore OHIO’s beautiful campus and vibrant community.

Visit 5 of the 10 stops and document your visits with photo proof of you and your crew. Bobcat Quest swag and complete a check-in when you visit Konneker Alumni Center.

After visiting 5 stops and posting your pictures on the Bobcat Network, your team will be entered in a drawing to win exciting OHIO prizes.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect, discover, and celebrate the OHIO spirit during Homecoming week. Get ready to embark on your Bobcat Quest and create memories along the way!

How it Works

  1. Gather a team of up to 6 and
  2. Check your email the week of Homecoming to receive check-in instructions.
  3. During Homecoming week, visit 5 of the 10 stops across campus and take photos of you and your quest crew.
  4. Post the pictures on the Bobcat Network to be entered in a raffle to win your choice of a pickleball play kit, OHIO-branded JBL speaker, or OHIO swag pack!

On this family-friendly adventure, you will explore the OHIO campus, revisit familiar spots, and discover new gems!

Bobcat Quest Stops:

  1. Konneker Alumni Center - Visit the home of the ĢƵ University Alumni Association! Pick up free Bobcat Quest swag Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
         52 University Terrace, Athens, OH 45701
  2. Alumni Gateway - A gift from the Class of 1915, commemorates 100 years since OHIO’s first graduating class in 1815.
         The Intersection of Court Street and Union Street
  3. Bobcat Benches - Dedicated in 2024, these bronze Bobcat statues honor the memory of OHIO alumnus Gary Nakamoto (BGS ’88), a devoted supporter of the university.
         Outside lower Baker University Center
  4. Peden Stadium - Find the bronze Bobcat statue and check out the Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 18.

  5. Paw Print Park - Opened in 2022, this park features two giant Bobcat paw prints used by students as hammocking spots.
         South Green, behind Nelson Commons
  6. National Pan-Hellenic Council Plaza - Unveiled in 2023, the NPHC Plaza honors historically African American fraternities and sororities that have been part of OHIO’s campus community for over a century.
         College Green, near Scripps Amphitheater
  7. Donkey Coffee - This local Athens coffee shop is rooted in community and social justice, serving Fair Trade coffee in a cozy space filled with art, music, and a welcoming vibe for all.
