Trevor Roycroft, PhD

Professor Roycroft served on the McClure School faculty from 1994 to 2004 and from 2013 to 2025. Professor Roycroft was granted tenure in 2000 and on his return in 2013, retiring with the rank of Full Professor and Emeritus status. His teaching and research focused on privacy, regulatory policy, and the economics of the telecommunication and information technology industries. During his career at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University Professor Roycroft published book chapters and academic articles, served on numerous committees, and from 2000-2002 served as the School’s Director. In addition to his academic endeavors, Dr. Roycroft has filed testimony, reports, and affidavits in over 100 proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission, state regulatory commissions, the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission, and in state and federal courts.
