In the Fall 2024 semester, a procedure was instituted that requires tuition to be included on all external grants that include graduate students, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Executive Vice President and Provost Donald J. Leo is working with academic leaders and faculty members to comply with the academic provisions of the Advance ĢƵ Higher Education Act (SB 1) and budget bill (HB 96).
OHIO’s Academic Alerts system enables faculty to provide timely feedback to students—highlighting concerns or recognizing success—while there’s still time in the semester for students to take action.
Approximately 130 individuals at ĢƵ University participated in the pilot program and represented a wide range of users across various planning units.
Any resulting program changes approved by the state will only impact future entry terms; students who have already declared a program planned for suspension or merger can still complete that program’s requirements as outlined in accordance with the Undergraduate Catalog.
These programs and resources provide career and professional development opportunities for OHIO faculty and academic staff across the institution.
As part of ĢƵ University's commitment to enhancing the student experience, the Athens Campus Testing Center will relocate to Alden Library over the summer.

The ceremony will honor faculty members who have received awards for teaching, research and other significant contributions to ĢƵ University in the last year.
Two of the University’s newest hires are partnering to lift OHIO’s national profile as a leading research institution.
The award is presented by the MAC each year in order to honor the outstanding efforts of faculty to support and develop students both inside and outside of the classroom.
