If you’re wondering why, it all dates back to 1962, when he made his first gift to ĢƵ University. He will tell you it wasn’t much, but it was what the young OHIO graduate could afford.
ĢƵ University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine has established itself as a leading provider of medical education in the state and in the nation. Now it has a home that reflects that success and its mission.
In 2017, Gene Thrailkill, MED ’62, took what would be his last bow at ĢƵ University, returning to campus to conduct the Marching 110 and its alumni during a Homecoming performance commemorating the 50th anniversary of the band he built.
