President Nellis announces search committee for new University general counsel
President Nellis has announced the members of the search committee for the University’s next general counsel after current general counsel John Biancamano announced his retirement earlier this year.
Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. Chaden Djalali, and Deborah Shaffer, Vice President for Finance and Administration and Treasurer of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University and the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University Foundation, will co-chair the committee. This committee includes a broad cross-section of our University. Members of this committee are listed below.
The University’s general counsel is provided through a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Attorney General’s office and the University President. As such, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Attorney General’s office has a representative serving on the search committee as well. The search committee will be comprised of:
