Services Provided

 SAACOFP fosters a supportive community of current and future family physicians within the college. The organization creates opportunities for students to:
   - Learn about family medicine as a specialty and explore residency options
   - Discover diverse career paths within family medicine
   - Network with practicing osteopathic family physicians and mentors
   Through these initiatives, SAACOFP helps students build meaningful connections and gain valuable insights into the field of family medicine.

Tentative Schedule for 2025-2026

Family Physician Guest Speakers
   Sessions featuring guest speakers from diverse backgrounds within family medicine. These physicians will share their unique career paths and experiences, highlighting the flexibility of the specialty and how it can be tailored to a wide range of personal interests and professional goals.
Clinical Skills Sessions – In-Office Procedures in Family Medicine
   Hands-on workshops focused on common in-office procedures such as cryotherapy, skin lesion removal, and joint injections. These sessions will help students develop practical skills frequently used in family medicine settings.
Annual Gala (in collaboration with SAAO)
   A formal evening event featuring prize raffles, an auction, dinner, and entertainment. Proceeds will support future student programming and initiatives.
