Our Mission
The club will provide future physicians with tools and knowledge to use Medical Spanish in their fields as well as help foster culturally competent physicians. Activities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Spanish conversation and medical vocabulary
-Communication skills with Spanish-speaking patients
-Awareness of health disparities among the Latine/Hispanic community within the United States and
around the world
-Working with medical interpreters
-Activities to improve Spanish speaking proficiency and cultural competency
-Philanthropic events to raise money and awareness for health organizations that focus on Latine/Hispanic communities
