Our Mission
The GI Club at OU-HCOM Cleveland serves as a hub for students interested in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and connect future osteopathic physicians with the dynamic world of digestive health through academic enrichment, mentorship, and community engagement.

Services Provided
We provide educational events such as expert-led lectures, procedural workshops, and Q&A panels that expose students to the breadth of GI practice, from general care to advanced interventions. The club also supports students in career development through networking opportunities with GI specialists, research guidance, and resources for residency preparation. We are also planning to organize and participate in a handful of philanthropic events throughout the year such as the Cleveland Walk to End Colon Cancer, and partnering with local health organizations to host events on nutrition, IBD management, and liver health.
