Negligence and Risk Management Project

SME Request/Need:

Convert lengthy text-only lecture material into engaging module with no voiceover narration. Integrate scenario-based questions and activities.


Design Decision/Choice:

In the absence of audio narration, the text/content was chunked into single concept sections with visuals to help manage learners’ cognitive load. Interactive elements such as accordion, tabs and embedded storyline activities were included. For the scenario-based questions, each scenario was paired with a corresponding image and question, followed with feedback to reinforce key concepts.

Rise Module Landing Page

Introduction to Articulate Rise module. This is the landing page where the student begins the learning activity. This is a great place for an introduction, title, and chapters that list the content the students will be reviewing during the module.

Rise Module Interactive Section

This is an example of an interactive section where students will click on the term and reveal the definition as it relates to the topic. By adding an interactive section, the students explore content and feel in charge of their experience.

Rise Module Scenario

This section displays a scenario that the student will read and then a list of questions that the student will answer about their decisions based on their understanding of the content.

Rise Module Click and Reveal

This is another example of a Rise Module that allows students to click and reveal information in an interactive scenario. The student can click the "i" to reveal information on the topic or the down arrow to reveal a deeper dive into the topic.
