SME Request/Need:
Design a visually engaging Canvas layout for the Experiential Learning Institute course tailored specifically for faculty. The design should stand out from standard student course templates, featuring a compelling visual structure that immediately captures attention and enhances the learning experience.
Design Decision/Choice:
AI was used to generate custom HTML code to create layouts not possible with Canvas’s editor (e.g., aligning videos with text, collapsible dropdown sections). Additionally, to comply with accessibility standards, AI was also used to generate alt text for images and graphs.
