Collaborative Piano Services
[Instrumentalists only] Deadlines for Requesting a Collaborative Pianist:
- Jury – by 11:59pm, Thursday, October 9, 2025, before fall break
- Recital – 8 weeks before the recital hearing date (** all non-degree recitals must be held before Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025)
- PL Students Performance – 8 weeks before each performance date.
- OU SoM Soloist Competition – 8 weeks before each division preliminary round.
[Singers only] Deadlines for Submitting the Collaborative Piano Request Form:
Students are responsible for communicating about their regular lessons and rehearsals with their pianists. This form is intended for vocalists wishing to engage in school events listed below, with exception of the jury.
- Recital – 4 weeks before the recital hearing date (** all non-degree recitals must be held before Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025)
- PL Students Performance – 8 weeks before each performance date.
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University School of Music Soloist Competition – 8 weeks before the voice division preliminary round.
*Please note that the Collaborative Piano Request Form is separate from the OU Soloist Competition, PL Performances, and Student Recital Request Forms.
Should the deadline be missed, students will relinquish access to collaborative piano services, and pianists are no longer obligated to provide accompanying services for the semester.
