Research Interests
Fluvial Sedimentology and Sequence Stratigraphy
- Fluvial transitions
- Nonmarine sequence stratigraphy
- Dinosaur track
- Distal sequence stratigraphy of Appalachian Basin
My research interests mainly focus on fluvial sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy of the Pennsylvanian age strata in southeastern Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. The combination of high frequency eustatic sea level changes and a variable tectonic subsidence rate led to complex and interesting patterns of terrestrial and shallow marine facies. I also dabble in the sedimentological aspects of vertebrate ichnology.
