Current Use

The Convocation Center has mixed uses for , Academic offices and a Residence Hall.

Seating 13,080 people, the building houses Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University Bobcat basketball, volleyball, and wrestling matches; offices for Intercollegiate Athletics, including the baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, soccer, softball, track, volleyball, and wrestling programs, and part of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science; and hosts large events like concerts, Commencement and Convocation ceremonies, and more for the University.

The West Green

The West Green on Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University's Athens campus.

West Green is the home of many engineering majors and athletes due to the ready access of Stocker Center and Peden Stadium. Notable buildings on this green include Boyd Hall, Grover Center, Convocation Center and Academic & Research Center.
